San Diego Zoo is only 30 minutes south of the Condo. This is an attraction for all ages.

Sea World with Shamu the killer whale is only 30 minutes south of the Condo.

Wild Animal Park

Wild Animal Park is only 30 minutes southwest of the Condo. You are the caged one, the animals are free here.

Universal Studios

Go see how the movies are made. Take the tour. See if Jaws can really get you.

Knott's Berry Farm

Knott's Berry Farm for the young at heart. Ride the rides and enjoy the excitement.

Del Mar Race Track

Into horse racing? This is one of the most famous. All this is within 30 minutes.

San Diego City

There are many attractions in the City. You could try old town. Or one of our very favorites is Koby's weekly flea market at the Sports Arena (Fri - Sun).

Helgren's Sport Fishing

How about a day (or half a day) on the ocean fishing or whale watching. Helgren's have several different options to choose from. You may want to try their sunset cruise where you just sit back and enjoy the sunset and the quiet cruise. Sorry, no link to this site, but it is only a 15 minute walk down to the harbor. Action Beach Rental

Do you need to rent something for the beach? Surf Board, Wet Suit, Fins, other? Try Action Beach at 310 Mission Ave (just above the pier). Phone 760-722-7101 for reservations.

The Flower Field

How about a visit to a major flower field. The site is fantastic and it is only 10 minutes from the condo. Phone (760)431-0352.

Carlsbad Outlet Mall

The ultimate outlet shopping. With name like Adidas, Banister Shoes, Calvin Klein, Day Runner, GAP, L'eggs, Reebox and many others. All of this is in Carlsbad, just 10 minutes south of the condo. Exit of Palomar Airport Road and go east to Paseo Del Norte.   Phone (888)790-SHOP.

Coaster Express Rail

How about a train ride to/from San Diego. We even heard of someone going to Tijunana by way of the Coaster. Mexico is not that far away, makes for a good day trip. Check their site out for schedule and prices.

Tijuana Day Trip

Take a day trip to Tijuana and enjoy some bargain hunting and good price haggling.   Or maybe you want to go a little farther for a day trip to Rosarito.

Oceanside California

The city. If you are not into going places, just sit back and enjoy Oceanside. Everything that you need is available within the city. And you don't even need to drive to enjoy the beach.
